Apple iMac and Magic Mouse comes to India
Apple has recently updates it iMac lineup.This new iMac lineup consists of 21.5-inch and 27-inch models. Apart from this, Apple has also unveiled its first multi-touch mouse called the Magic Mouse in India.
The all new iMac lineup features LED-backlit displays that flaunt a 16:9 aspect ratio. The IPS technology claims to deliver consistent color and an ultra wide 178 degree viewing angle. The other features include 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB SATA HDD, Mini DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet port, four USB 2.0 ports and SD card slot.
“The iMac is widely praised as the best desktop computer in the world and today we are making it even better,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “With brilliant LED displays and the revolutionary Magic Mouse, the new iMac delivers an amazing desktop experience that we think customers will love.”
The Magic Mouse incorporates a seamless touch-sensitive enclosure that allows users to use it as a single or multi-button mouse. It is capable of recognizing various intuitive gestures. These gestures enable easy navigation through long documents and web pages. The Magic Mouse can be used by both left and right-handed users.
The Apple Magic Mouse will be made available by the end of October for approximately Rs. 3,890. The iMac with Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor will be made available within two weeks while the one with the Core i5 processor will begin shipping next month. This new iMac lineup will be made available at a starting price of Rs. 64,900. Both the iMac and the Magic Mouse can be purchased via Apple’s authorized resellers.
