Maingear Introduces Shift PC
Maingear unleashes a brand new everyday supercomputer that is expected to set a new standard in high performance computing. The company reveals to computer enthusiasts Shift which boasts of a sophisticate look complete with slim and elegant lines. The latest PC from Maingear offers unlimited upgradeability and optimal airflow. With the help of the inbuilt GPU, users will be able to conduct everyday tasks at great speeds. Transcoding videos for portable media devices, upscaling standard definition video and photo and video editing all can be done in a snap with Shift.
The latest offering from Maingear includes many innovative features which makes computing tasks faster and easier. Shift sports an aluminum skin with elegant lines which covers a tank-like steel skeleton. The company fashioned the device to provide a touch of sophistication to the house without being cluttered with unnecessary bling. It also includes superior cooling techniques like a 90 degree rotation of the motherboard, bottom to top airflow and aggressive liquid cooling.

Shift comprises of multiple SATA hard drive configurations, full eATX motherboard support and user accessible expansion slots. The sleek offering also includes up to 2 2.5 inch HDD in each 3.5 inch HDD Drive bay and full sized 5.25 inch optical drives. Maingear’s latest product provides consumers with world class customer support. If their Shift poses a problem, they can either directly contact the builder of the systems or go through a virtual on-site support via an internal remote-desktop setup.
Maingear also announces that it would soon release a Shift version that is ideal for audio editing, CAD, video production and creative professionals. This would be unleashed by the end of this year. The Shift has a base price of $2,199 and is backed with the company’s premium Lifetime Labor and Phone Support with 3 year hardware warranty.
