CES 2010: LG Showcases GW900 and GT540

LG has showcases its two new handsets, the GT540 and GW990 in the 2010 Consumer Electronic Show. The GW990 is the first device which runs on Intel’s future Moorestown CPU. It is said to be powered by Moblin which is a Mobile Linux Platform.

The GW990 comes with a 4.8-inch display and features Wi-Fi, HSPA, AGPS. The Phone also boasts 5 mgapixel camera and support HD video playback and 3D gaming. According to reports, it will also feature a three panel viewing system with a large display.

LG also showcased its new Android powered handset, the GT540. This is the company’s third handset which will be running on Android platform and is mainly focused at social networking users.

The GT540 features 240×400 touchscreen display, 3G, EDGE/GPRS connectivity, 3 megapixel camera with autofocus function. The GT540 also supports Divx video playback and expandable memory upto 32GB using microSD card slot.

The GT540 is set to make world debut in April in four colours. No detailed price and specification has been told by the company yet.
