Gateway FX6831-03 and FX6831-01 Gaming Desktop PCs
Hardcore PC gamers may get a reason to become happy as Gateway has launched two new Gaming desktop PCs in their Fx series, the FX6831-03 and FX6831-01 PCs.
Both the gaming machine will bear new chassis for easy accessibility to key features and various connectivity ports. This machine are provided with headphone and microphone jack at the front top, while the media card reader has been placed in a more convenient angle now.
The PCs will get two additional USB ports which are located at the back of the recessed tray and an access door tray with eject buttons for the optical disk drives which are placed in the front side of the cabinet. In the Front unit controls are provided for adjust lighting effects, Photo frame and backup buttons. The FX6831-03 comes with an Blu-ray disc drive and 16GB DDR3 memory while FX6831-01 incorporates 8GB DDR3 memory.
Both the machine are powered by Intel Core i7 860 2.8Ghz processor which comes with Turbo Boost technology. They also houses ATI Radeon HD5850 1 GB video memory , 1.5TB SATA drives and comes preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit edition. The Gateway FX6831-01 is priced at $1,699 while the FX6831-01 is priced at $1,299.
