Gateway SX2840-01 and DX4831-03 Desktops Starts Shipping
Gateway has started shipping its two new desktops, the SX2840-01 and DX4831-03. Both the desktops are powered by Intel’s latest generation processor and comes preloaded with Microsoft Windows & Home Premium 64-bit OS.
The SX2840 is a desktop with small cabinet which host device holder and multi card reader in front top. It can be connected to the home theater system via HDMI cable. The chassis also comes with a dedicated media button which lets the user to view slideshow of photos on their desktops.
Powered by Intel 2.93Ghz Core i3 processor, it houses Intel GMA X4500HD gpu, 6GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB SATA HDD and Dvd super multi drive.
The second desktop, i.e, DX4831 offers USB port, multi card reader and headphone, microphone jack which is provided on the top of desktop for easier access. Its cabinet hosts digital device holder for keeping phones, MP3 players, cameras and dedicated photo frame button.
The dekstop incorporates 3.2Ghz Intel Core i5 650 processor with Turbo Boost technology. Other features includes Nvidia GeForce GT220 1GB video memory, 8GB dual channel DDR3 RAM, DVD supermulti drive with optional Blu-ray drive.
The Gateway SX2840-01 and DX4831-03 desktops are priced at $559 and $849 respectively.
