Samsung has announced its new portable external hard drive, the Samsung S2 portable. It will come preloaded with Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT’.

The portable harddrive is set to hit the European stores by the end of March 2010. The Samsung S2 comes with a storage capacity of 500GB. It has USB on Board Technology and supports various user friendly features such as Samsung Auto Backup that enables real-time or scheduled backup and SecretZone that encrypts and stores data on a virtual drive as well as SafetyKey, a powerful data-security function that offers dual data protection through a password.

At present the special edition hard drive will be available in European stores from Feb 22. Availability in other countries is not yet known.
