Samung Launches Galaxy SPICA, Android Based phone

Samsung has extended its lineup of Android based mobile phone with the launch of its latest handset, the Galaxy SPICA (I5700).

The handset comes with 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display and features 800Mhz processor and inbuilt Google mobile services. It is also equipped with 3G and Wi-Fi for browsing web.

The Galaxy Spica comes preloaded with Google Mobile Services which includes Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, Youtube, Google Calendar, GTalk and also supports many games, applications downloadable from Android Market.

It also offers Social Networking with location based GPS tagging which allows user to update their location status as they interact with their friends online. The Galaxy SPICA comes with internal memory of 163MB which is expandable upto 32GB, 3MP camera, Music player which support all major format, 3.5mm headphone jack, Divx video playback, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor and Digital Compass.

The Samsung Galaxy SPICA is priced at Rs. 14750.
