Logitech Introduces Wireless Desktop MK710, with 3 year battery Life
Logitech has introduced its latest wireless keyboard and mouse package, the Wireless Desktop MK710. The combination of keyboard and mouse features a battery life of 3 years.
The Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 uses 2.4Ghz wireless technology to transmit the information much faster than the typical 27Mhz wireless system. It conserves power by reducing the amount of time the keyboard and mouse remain active when they are left idle.
The keyboard features Logitech Incurve keys and a palm rest which is cushioned neatly. The LCD dashboard gives at-a-glance status for Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, Num Lock and battery life.
The midsize laser mouse delivers smooth tracking on a variety of surfaces and and Hyper-fast scrolling lets users fly through long documents. The mouse’s sculpted, right-hand shape guides to a naturally comfortable position and places the three customizable thumb buttons within easy reach, so users can move quickly between Web pages or applications (after downloading of Logitech software).
The Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 is expected to be available in Europe beginning in February 2010 and in the U.S. beginning in April 2010, for a suggested retail price of $99.99 (U.S.).
