Pentax Optio W90 Rugged Camera Announced
Pentax has added one more rugged camera to its Optio series, the new Pentax Optio W90. It is the eleventh generation optio waterproof digital camera built for the rugged adventure lovers.
The new W90 is waterproof, shockproof, dustproof and coldproof. The 12.1-megapixel W90 offers a 5x Optical Zoom along with innovative features and style that suppress other digital camera available in the market. It comes with a Digital Microscope mode with LED lightning to capture extremely small objects. The device comes packed with woven web fabric strap complete with a carabiner to attach the camera to a backpack and other outdoor gear.
The camera boasts 2.7-inch LCD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and offers various features including 720P HD video recording at 30fps, HDMI port to watch captured videos on HDTV and Eye-Fi wireless SD card connectivity.
The Pentax Optio W90 will start shipping from April 2010 and is priced at $329. Users can also buy an infrared camera for the device which is available at a price of $29.
