WD Annouces SiliconEdge Blue SSDs for Notebooks and PCs
Western Digital has started shipping its new SSD in the WD SiliconEdge 2.5-inch SSD family, the all new WD SiliconEdge Blue SSDs. The new SSD offers faster read and write speed and comes in high storage capacities making them ideal storage solution for read intensive applications requiring high performance and plug-and-play compatibility.
The new WD SiliconEdge SSD are available in various storage capacity upto 256GB. The new drive offers SATA 3.0 interface and render a write transfer speed upto 170MB/s which helps to accelerate application performance and deliver maximum tolerance for drop,shock and vibration along with silent and low power operation.
The WD SiliconEdge Blue drive is backed by three-year limited time warranty and WD’s lifetime technical support. The new drive is available across major retail stores with a retail tag price of WD SiliconEdge Blue SSD 64 GB (model SSC-D0064SC-2100) capacity is Rs 16,250; for 128 GB (model SSC-D0128SC-2100) is Rs 30,900 and for 256 GB (SSC-D0256SC-2100) is Rs 58,250.
