Sony BDP-S1700ES 3D Blu-ray Player

Sony had introduced its new BDP-S1700ES 3D Blu-ray player which will be hitting the stores in August 2010. The player is the newest addition of the 2010 Elevated Standard Lineup.

The player is not only capable of Full HD 1080p output and DVD 1080p Upscaling, but it also supports 3D Blu-ray content and SACD disc. It comes with builtin Wi-Fi connectivity to provider easier access to Bravia Internet Video platform.

The player comes with 1GB internal memory and can handle Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD Master Audio Decoding. Users can also play music and view photos using USB and DLNA port provided.

The Sony BDP-S1700ES will be priced at about $400.
