Sony PlayStation Move Motion Controller Coming in September

Sony announced that it will be launching the Playstation Move Motion Controller for PS3 on 15 september 2010. The Playstation Move motion controller (left) will be used along with Move navigation controller (right) and the Playstation Move Eye Camera for navigation in game.

Sony will be releasing the Playstation Move bundle in US for $99, the bundle will get Playstation Move motion Controller, Playstation Move Eye Camera, Sports Champions Blu-ray disc game and Playstation Move demo disc. Sony will also will release Playstation 3 Spors Champion Move bundle which will include a PS3 system along with the component listed above, it will cost $399. +Continue Reading

Sony PlayStation Move Shooting Attachment

Along with new Move motion controller and navigation controller, Sony will also be launching Playstation Move Shooting Attachment. The device is designed to place the Move Motion controller horizontally which will allow the players to hold the motion controller as they are holding a gun and will make it much easier to easily aim at target.

The trigger on the attachment gets interlocked with the motion controller T button enabling user to play the game. The attachment use is not only limited to shooting games but also can be used on games which may require precise input and control. +Continue Reading

Splinter Cell Conviction (PC) Delayed

Just few days before the launch PC version of the Splinter Cell Conviction Ubisoft has delayed its launch by two weeks. While, the release of the Xbox 360 version remains unchanged to 16th April, and now the PC version will be available by 30th April.

Of course this only affects you if you were planning on purchasing the PC version of the game that’s plagued by Ubi’s latest DRM which requires users to stay connected to the internet 24/7 to save progress. Not a problem for gamers in the West but I’ll be surprised if Indians can complete the game given the crappy ISPs we have to make do with. +Continue Reading

Sony Reveals PlayStation Move at GDC 2010

Sony has officially revealed its new motion controller dubbed Playstation Move at the 2010 Gamers Developers Conference. Like the Wii, the Playstation Move will also offer additional controller called Sub-Controller which will enhance the experience.

According to press release :

The corner stone of PlayStation Move, PlayStation Move motion controller combines advanced motion sensors, a dynamic color changing sphere, vibration feedback, and an easy to use button interface. Resident Evil 4 has been launched for the iPhone and iPod touch.

The iPhone version of Resident Evil 4 is based off another mobile version originally created for a Japanese mobile phone company.
