Garmin has introduced nwe GPSMAP 62 series rugged outdoor handheld devices. The new sleek device comes with new mapping option for hunters, hikers and geocachers of all ages.
The GPSMAP 62 comes equipped with 2.6-inch bright display which can be easily viewed under sunlight, high-sensitivity GPS receiver, quad helix antenna, builtin worldwide basemap and offers a battery life of 20 hours.

Pioneer has released in US its new AVIC-Z120BT in-dash navigation system which supports DVD playback and also offer support for SIRIUS XM satellite and HD radio,.
The AVIC-Z120BT comes equipped with 7-inch touchscreen dsplay, built-in DVD player, 3D graphics accelerator, built-in bluetooth and hands free for calling and music streaming and USB port for connecting portable devices.

A few weeks ago Google had launched their Google Maps Navigation (Beta) for Google Maps on Android 2.0 devices. That feature has now become available for devices running Android 1.6 (Donut) and higher.
