Toshiba has introduced it new Canvio Portable Hard Drive for Mac. The Stylish Elegant looking drive comes in 500GB, 750GB and 1TB capacities. The drive comes preloaded with NTI Shadow 5 software for MAC to offer fully-customized backup and synchronization and also supports password encryption with upto 256-bit data encryption.

Buffalo has introduced the new SHD-NHPU2 series SSD (Solid State Drive) which uses the PSATA interface. The new SSD is based on MLC NAND Flash and offers 64MB cache memory and USB 2.0 connector as well.

OCZ Technology has introduced two new SSD, the enterprise-class Vertex 2 Pro and Vertex 2 EX Solid State Drive. Both the 2.5-inch SSD uses the SandForce SF-1500 processor and offers upto 285MB/s read speed abd 275MB/s write speeds and and 4KB random writes up to 50,000 Input/Output per second (IOPS).
