Asus has taken off the curtains from the latest Transformer Prime TF700T at the CES 2012. Old Transformer Prime owner might get disappointed with this launch as the new Prime comes with 1080p capable display. The new Transformer Prime will come with Super IPS+ display with Gorilla glass and also gets lots of changes under the hood.
The Front facing camera is upgraded to 2MP from 1.3MP. The rear panel also get all new look which will further enhance WIFI, Bluetooth and GPS performance of the device. The device is still compatible with the keyboard dock of the original Transformer Prime. Under the hood, it now gets Tegra 3 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and will feature microHDMI and MicroSD card slot.
The new Transformer Prime sale will start in US from Second quarter of 2012. It is priced at $599 (approx Rs.31,335) for the 32GB version and $699 (approx Rs. 35,562) for the 64GB version. At present there is no news regarding global availability.
