CES 2012: Panasonic’s annouces VT50 plasma 3D HDTV

After lot of high end LED, OLED, Ultra HDTV and 3DTV launch we finally get something from Plasma series, Panasonic has announced its new flagship Plasma 3DTV series, the VT50. The new series will be in store nearby you within few weeks and might get two models- 55-inch P55VT50 and 65-inch P65VT50.

Both the TV will come with Panasonic’s “Infinite Black Ultra Panel” thereby offering impressive black levels ever seen on Plasma TV. Also, they will be getting a “Touch Pad Controller” in order to make Internet based navigation much easy and even shortcut buttons are also provided to access Netflix and Skype directly.

24,576 steps of gradation are incorporated in both the panel in order to represent images with subtle tonal change between shades; this addition will for sure solve the issue of the older Plasma’s. The THX certified TV can convert 2D images into 3D, also smoothing of 24p 3D is done using Panasonic latest “3D 24p Smoother”.

Further Panasonic has added 8-train speaker to the panel, this thin looking speaker offers awesome sound quality with rich bass produced by 22mm thick subwoofer present on the rear. Thus helping to produce nice wide sound which is mostly not present in today’s high end flat panels.

This new addition of Plasma TV with high end features might give nice competition to high end OLED and LED TV due to its price levels, Panasonic has not revealed the pricing details as of now. So on which product you will like to lay down you money Plasma or LED TV??
