HP ProBook 6445b and ProBook 6545b Affordable Notebooks
HP announced two new afforable notebooks, the ProBook 6445b and the ProBook 6545b, both based on AMD processor. The two new ProBook b-series notebooks are powered by a choice of AMD processors, including Turion II 2.4GHz, Turion II 2.3GHz, Athlon II 2.1GHz and Sempron 2GHz, and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4200 graphics.
The ProBook b-series can be equipped with up to 8GB of DDR2 memory and up to 500GB hard drive or 128GB SSD. They get a DVD SuperMulti burner or an optional Blu-ray/DVD burner combo drive as well. +Continue Reading
HP introduces the new Compaq Presario CQ61z entry-level notebook PC that has a piano black imprint finish with a silver panel. The CQ61z is powered by AMD Sempron M100 2GHz processor, 2GB of memory and a ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics. The laptop gets a 160GB hard drive and a DVD burner.
Lenovo launches in China market the new ThinkPad SL410 and SL510 notebook PCs. Designed for business users, both ThinkPads are powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor and packs Intel GMA 4500M, or GMA 4500MHD or AMD ATI M92-S2 XT graphics.
After the 17-inch M17X, Dell announced the all new Alienware M15x gaming notebook that is equipped with Intel’s new mobile Core i7 processor, up to Core i7-920XM 2GHz. The M15x is one of the most powerful 15.6-inch notebook in the market.
While BenQ introduces the new S35 and S43, Samsung is also planning two CULV-based notebooks, the X420 and X520.
