Samsung Launches Omnia II in India
In keeping with its brand positioning of ‘NEXT is What’, Samsung has strengthened its Omnia series with the launch of the Omnia II–GT I8000. The I8000 looks exactly like the Samsung Jet with a larger display.

In keeping with its brand positioning of ‘NEXT is What?’ Samsung has just launched their first handset with a 12MP camera and full touch screen functionality, the Pixon12 (M8910) in the Indian market. The Pixon12 comes packed with a host of functions which enable consumers to easily capture, browse and share their images on the move.
Although Samsung is the world’s second largest phone maker, it does not have its own open mobile/smartphone Operating System (sure, it has the platform that’s being used on its dumb phones, but this is not the equivalent of a proper OS).
