With the increase in Demand for energy efficient products, the bigger players in PC market has started showing up their environment friendly product. In the wave, Toshiba has introduced new line-up of low-power HDDs which includes MBF2600RC, MBF2450RC and MBF2300RC.

The new lineup of drives offers a read seek time of 4msec while write seek time of 4.4msec. It comes with SAS 2.0 interface,16MB buffer memory and renders a transfer rate of 6GB/s @ 10,025 RPM.

The new series of HDDs consume just 2.5 W of electricity and comes in variable storage capacities of 600GB, 450GB and 300GB. These drives are halogen-free and RoHS compliant while they also cut down CO2 emission by 3KG annually. +Continue Reading

Toshiba has already introuduced its Widi (Wireless display) enabled laptop E205 at CES 2010. The company had not waited much and started shipping the laptop.

The Satellite E205 is the world’s first laptop to get the Intel’s Wireless Display technology which allows you to connect your notebook wirelessly to yout HDTV. The E250 features 14-inch LED Backlit 1366×768p display and is powered by Intel Core i5 processor. Toshiba has launched two new touchscreen laptop, namely the Toshiba Satellite U505 Touch and Satellite M505. The Toshiba Satellite U505 Touch and Satellite M505 laptops, both offers multitouch display. Toshiba announced the new Satellite T100 series CULV-based notebook PC. Two models have been introduced, the Satellite T135 (aka Satellite T130 in Europe) and the Satellite T115 (aka Satellite T110 in Europe).

Toshiba adds to its Qosmio line the new Qosmio X500 series Core i7-based multimedia notebook PC. The X500 is boosted by Intel’s new Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and NVIDIA’s GeForce GTS 250MNV graphics card.

Toshiba has announced the launch of its new Artful lineup of laptops that comprises of two mini notebook PCs and four mainstream notebook PCs.
